Welcome to Tier One Gymnastics & Activity Center! We are a premier kids’ gym and active play center dedicated to promoting health, happiness and skill development for children of all ages. Our mission is to provide a safe and exciting environment where kids can explore their potential, build confidence and foster a lifelong love for physical activity.
Our why: seven years ago, our oldest daughter stepped into her first gymnastics class, and it sparked something magical in our family. That spark spread to our middle daughter and now to our youngest. Their smiles, their determination, their love for the sport: those are the reasons we’ve poured our hearts and souls into Tier One.
It’s not just about gymnastics. It’s about active play, friendships, confidence and character: a space where every child feels welcomed, valued and empowered to thrive. Thank you for being a part of our journey, and for letting us be a part of yours.

Owner
As the owner of Tier One Gymnastics and a proud mom of three competitive gymnasts, gymnastics is a huge part of my life! My goal is to create a place where everyone feels like family, not just another number, and every athlete feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. I love seeing our athletes gain confidence, reach new milestones, and make memories along the way.

I love being part of a place where kids can grow, build confidence, and discover what they are capable of. My favorite part of this job is seeing the smiles, celebrating milestones, and watching our athletes develop both inside and outside the gym. I am passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment for our families, athletes, and staff. Being part of a team that makes a difference is what makes my job so rewarding!

As a dad of three competitive gymnasts, gymnastics has become a big part of my life. I specialize in vault and bars and enjoy helping athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential. One of the most rewarding parts of coaching is seeing their hard work and dedication pay off.

I’m a mom of four and have been coaching gymnastics for the past two years. I was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years, competing through Level 8 and training at Level 9. I’ve never outgrown my love to flip, and I’m grateful to now share that passion with young athletes while helping them grow and reach their goals!

I grew up as a competitive gymnast, competing through Level 7 and training for Level 8. I have been coaching at Tier One for the past year and a half, with four years of previous coaching experience. I love being able to stay involved in the sport that has played such a big role in my life and enjoy watching gymnasts grow, develop new skills, build confidence, and reach their goals!

Recreational Gymnastics Coach
I began tumbling at age 5 and competing in gymnastics at age 8, reaching Level 8 and Xcel Diamond while training Level 9 skills and qualifying for State multiple times. I also cheered throughout high school and have been coaching gymnastics for the past year and a half.

With 15 years of cheerleading experience, I am currently a college cheerleader at St. Ambrose University, where I have earned two national championship titles. I also have over three years of experience coaching recreational cheerleading and tumbling classes. I love sharing my passion for cheerleading and helping athletes build their skills and confidence.

Alongside my role as office and finance manager at C.D. Ford and Sons, I am Mom to three amazing kids. I have coached all of my kids in soccer and I’ve loved bringing that experience into supporting young gymnasts today.

We love Tier One Gymnastics Academy! We have two daughters here, one in competitive and one in rec/pre-team. Both programs are excellent. The coaches, owners, and gym families are amazing. The facility is new, clean, and well maintained. We have had birthday parties in both the gym and Fun Zone, which have also been great. Highly recommend!

Our family loves this place! My kids love it! They love the facility, they love the funzone, they love the snack and dip and dots station (haha), and they love the coaches!! The coaches know what they are doing and believe in every gymnast! Makes my heart happy when I know my kids are at a safe place where they can strengthen their body supported by people who truly care for them! Adult gymnastics for myself has been going great too! Our family is new to gymnastics and we experience that it is more than just a sport!

My daughter started at the beginning of the month and has truly thrived in such a short amount of time! She is excited to go each week. Every time you enter, you are greeted with a smile - a very welcoming environment! We took advantage of the Saturday open gym this weekend, and my daughter had so much fun exploring the different areas of the gym, and receiving assistance from the coach as needed. The coaches are so supportive and encouraging, pushing her each class to do her best! She started the first week in the preschool class. The coaches felt she needed to be challenged more, so with a quick evaluation, she moved up to the next level. As a parent I appreciate that the focus was on ability level versus age for her to be appropriately placed. I feel that each athlete’s success is a priority. The facility is top of the line and everyone is so nice. I am very grateful that we joined and would highly recommend Tier One!!
